René Lindsen, President & CEO
Rene Lindsen, 1958, is a gaming-industry veteran who founded Swiss Gaming Corporation in 2006. Originally from the Netherlands, he began his career at Holland Casino, where he held several positions over 14 years, including International Project Manager. In this role he advised the Swiss Government developing the Gaming Law including the Responsible Gaming Law.
Lindsen subsequently opened three casinos in Switzerland, two as a General Manager and one as a Project Manager. He went to become General Manager of three Hotel/ Casinos in Surinam, South America, where he also served as Vice President of the Association of License Holders. He returned to Europe in 2006.
Due to his experience and knowledge of the international Leisure and Gaming industry, Lindsen is Council Member of the Gerson Lehrman Group, Leisure & lodging, Council Member of the Society of Industry Leaders, registered consultant at the Vista Group and a pending membership at the International Masters of Gaming Law.
Lindsen is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy in Weert and received degrees in Middle Management from the Institute for Social Science in Groningen and in Senior Management from the Institute for Organisation Psychology in Amsterdam. Before beginning his gaming career, Lindsen served 12 year in the Dutch army, during which he served in the United Nations Interim Force in war-torn Lebanon. Lindsen speaks Dutch, English, Italian, French and German. He lives in Ascona, Switzerland.

Renata Martini, Senior Vice President
Renata Martini, 1966, is a marketing and communications specialist with international experience in Asia, South America, Eastern- and Western Europe. She began her casino career in Switzerland after the change of the law in 2000.
Before that she studied all aspects of the casino business and after having held several positions in casinos in the Italian part of Switzerland, she specialized on the international marketing and communications aspects.
Martini graduated from the University of Poznan.
Martini speaks Italian, English and Polish.

Allan Howard, Vice President Operations
Allan L Howard, 1950, joined the gaming Industry in 1969 and received one of the first supervisor’s licenses issued by the Gaming Board of Great Britain. Over the next ten years he worked for Ladbrokes and Mecca as well as private casino owners in Australia, Nigeria and the UK.
During the ‘80’s and ‘90’s he managed casinos in a number of countries and established new operations on behalf of investors. He has undertaken casino projects in The Baltic, Cyprus, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia and India.
In 1996 he helped to establish a business manufacturing electronic roulette tables and in 2001 was instrumental in setting up a company to distribute an earlier version of the Digi Playcards which is now listed on the NASDAQ OTC market (EGMI.OB). He has a broad depth of knowledge and experience in both online and offline casino operations and is well versed in casino management systems and marketing.

Ernest C. Matthews IV, Associate Counsel of Legal and Regulatory Services
Ernest Matthews, 1958, joined SGC in 2007 as Associate Legal Counsel. Matthews is a lawyer, specialized in gaming with worldwide experience in gaming law issues and international business consulting.
He has legal and business experience in the Pacific and European sectors; Gaming counsel and work in advisory role for emerging gaming markets; Advice to and pareticipation in international gaming companies; Substantial transactional work for startup companies and established businesses evolving into new markets; Coordination of major litigation involving matters of local, federal and international legal concerns; Negotiation and organization of joint ventures and other associations; Promotional work, including public speaking, on behalf of specific clients and general business interests; Substantial work with governmental and political interests domestically and internationally. Sonia Tarchini, Director of Responsible Gaming
Sonia Tarchini, 1974, is an experienced manager in the field of problem gambling and advising on the development and implementation of Responsible Gaming in Switzerland. She trained various casino staff and management in recognizing problem gambling in numerous casinos in Switzerland after the implementation of the new Gaming Law in 2000.
After having served several years in the casino trenches, she became responsible for the “social concept” of four casinos in Switzerland, in which role she reported directly to the Swiss Gaming Board. During this period Tarchini worked closely together with psychologists in treating gambling addiction.
Tarchini graduated from the University of Bern in 1995 on literature and in 2000 from the Swiss-Italian University on problem gambling and pathology.
Tarchini speaks Italian, German and English.

Markus Engl, Director of Marketing & Development
Markus Engl, 1974, is a young but experienced manager who joined the gaming industry in 1995 in Bavaria, Germany. He developed, managed and reorganized casinos in Germany, Switzerland and Czech. Apart from that Engl has experience in the fields of Marketing, CRM, Project Management and Human Resources.
He graduated from the Bavarian Academy Munich as Business Economist BA in 2001 and speaks German, Italian and English.
